Bathembu - Head Boy for 2008

Bathembu and his SOS Mother Glynice at the special awards ceremony held at Gelvandale Primary School today, where he received the badge that he will be wearing for the year, as Head Boy! He was elected by his peers and teachers, after a Learner Councillor Course he attended with other learners in Grade 7 from his school.

Bathembu is a great all rounder, he enjoys spending time with his friends, Maths is his favourite subject at school. He plays soccer for under 14s, he is a keen gardener and also loves dancing Hip Hop and Pantsula.   We are really proud of him achievement and wish his every success for the year ahead.
